Police ban operatives from looking citizen’s telephone

The Commissioner of Police in Edo State, Funsho Adegboye, has banned operatives within the state from looking the telephones of residents.

The police spokesperson within the state, Chidi Nwabuzor, disclosed this in an announcement posted on the command’s X deal with on Thursday.

“Commissioner of Police, Edo State warns officers and males to desist from this act, because the inspector basic of police directs Zonal AIGs, Command, and Formation CPs to watch their personnel,” Mr Nwabuzor.

The ban by the police in Edo State got here lower than two months after the police commissioner in Lagos State gave an identical warning to operatives within the state.
