Police operatives on Wednesday dispersed protesting members of the Judiciary Workers Union of Nigeria, Osun State department, because the Chief Choose, Adepele Ojo, resumed again to her workplace.
The protesters had since Monday paralysed actions within the State Excessive Courtroom in protest towards alleged abuse of workplace and high-handedness by Ojo.
However on Wednesday, Ojo made her method into the premises and the protesters who had left the gate to the premises open, upon realising that the CJ had entered, moved in the direction of the place her car was being parked.
Police operatives on the premises subsequently fired teargas to disperse the protesters and people on the scene ran in numerous instructions.
Addressing journalists after the incident, the Chairman, Osun JUSUN, Gbenga Eludire, mentioned, “Following the motion of the police and perspective of the Chief Choose, I, Comrade Gbenga Eludire, hereby ordered that employees within the sector ought to withdraw their service until additional discover.”
