The Police Command in Nasarawa State has confirmed the rescue of the remaining 4 kidnapped pupils of Native Authorities Training Authority (LGEA) Major Faculty Alwaza, Doma Native Authorities Space.
DSP Ramhan Nansel, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) within the state made the affirmation to newsmen on Friday in Lafia.
The Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) studies that six pupils of LGEA Major Faculty Alwaza, Doma LGA had been kidnapped by gunmen on bikes on Friday, Jan. 20, round 7:00 a.m.
NAN additionally remembers that two out of the pupils had been rescued by the police in collaboration with different safety businesses and hunters on Jan. 21, a day after they had been kidnapped.
The PPRO stated that at about 7:00 a.m. on Friday, a detachment of joint safety operatives in collaboration with hunters rescued the 4 pupils unharmed at Doka village, Doma LGA.
The police spokesperson added that the victims have been taken to the hospital for medical examination and can be reunited with their mother and father thereafter.
He stated that Mr Maiyaki Muhammad-Baba, Commissioner of Police within the state expressed gratitude to members of the general public for his or her help all through the interval of the search of the pupils.
He stated that although no arrest has been made, he appealed to the general public to help the police with helpful data that may help in arresting the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
