A police protecting companies officer shot a person within the coronary heart of Melbourne’s CBD, forcing the world to be cordoned off throughout Friday’s peak hour.

Police stated the incident was not terror-related and there was no hazard to the group.
They stated Armed Crime Squad detectives would examine with oversight by the Skilled Requirements Command, a traditional process when a firearm is discharged.

A 67-year-old Warneet man, a 56-year-old Collingwood girl, a 24-year-old Kennington girl and a 46-year-old Hoppers Crossing girl had been all taken to hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.
The arrested South Melbourne man was serving to police with their enquiries.
