Tamil Nadu Legislative Meeting Speaker and DMK chief M Appavu’s month-old assertion attributing the event of the state to Christians and that Tamil Nadu would have been Bihar if Catholic Christians weren’t there has sparked an argument.

Now the month-old speech of Appavu’s has gone viral on social media. The BJP attacked the DMK and condemned the Tamil Nadu Meeting Speaker over the problem.
Tamil Nadu BJP state vp and spokesperson Narayanan took to social media and slammed Mr Appavu for his speech.
“Is that this DMK’s Secularism? They’ve misplaced their declare to name themselves a secular celebration. Now this proves that DMK is an anti-Hindu celebration,” he added.
In the meantime, Appavu criticised BJP for allegedly politicising the problem.
