Indonesian proprietor Samudera Transport Line is boosting its stake within the liquified pure gasoline delivery three way partnership LNG East-West Transport (LNG EW).
The Singapore-listed firm stated in a submitting it had struck a deal to buy shut to eight.6m abnormal shares from Japan’s Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) similar to about 25% stake within the LNG EW.
The deal, value $14.8m, will raise Samudera’s shareholding within the JV to 50%, with the remaining stake managed by NYK.
LNG EW was initially established as a three way partnership between NYK, Samudera and Russia’s Sovcomflot to ship LNG from BP’s Tangguh plant in Indonesia.
