The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Social gathering (SDP) in Kogi State, Muritala Ajaka, has gained his polling unit by a large margin.
Mr Ajaka voted round 9:37 a.m. at Open House Okotonowa, polling unit, Owoli Apa ward, Idah Native Authorities Space (LGA), Kogi State.
He defeated the incumbent-backed All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Usman Ododo, and Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP).
The SDP candidate garnered 273 votes on the polling unit, whereas the APC and PDP candidates obtained eight votes and one vote, respectively.
