The Nigerian Military says its joint safety operation consisting of its troops, operatives of the Nigerian Navy, Division of State Providers and Nigeria Police Pressure have dislodged camps allegedly belonging to the Indigenous Folks of Biafra (IPOB) and Jap Safety Community (ESN) in Anambra and Enugu states.
The Director, Military Public Relations, Brigadier Common Onyema Nwachukwu, disclosed this in an announcement on Sunday, titled “Troops clear IPOB/ESN camps in Anambra, Enugu states, get better harmful weapons”.
Based on the assertion, the clearance operation in Anambra State passed off on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Idara Nnebo, Ihe Mbosi villages and Ukpor in Nnewi South Native Authorities Space.
The assertion partly learn, “In a clearance operation performed within the early hours of Saturday, 25 June 2022, troops cleared IPOB hearth positions and Improvised Explosive Units to dislodge the criminals from their hideouts.
