NEW YORK — A 13-year-old boy was stabbed on an MTA bus and later died Friday on Staten Island.
We all know a 14-year-old boy is now in police custody.

Witnesses say a 13-year-old boy was using the bus when one other teenager obtained on, and the 2 began yelling at one another.

The second teenager then allegedly stabbed the 13-year-old within the chest.

Based on witnesses, the sufferer then stumbled off the bus, calling for assist.
“He screamed, ‘Assist, somebody name the cops, I can not breathe,'” the teenage witness stated.
The assailant took off working.
“He was very fidgety and he stored staring again down and looking out throughout and dipping, then he made a left,” witness Anthony Esemplaire stated.
The NYPD says two passersby, a state environmental conservation officer and a retired NYPD sergeant, tracked the 14-year-old suspect down earlier than police arrived.
“The retired sergeant begins to comply with the male who did the stabbing. At the moment, one other witness factors him out and says, ‘This particular person simply stabbed any person,’ and the sergeant results the arrest,” Chell stated.
