Two paddleboarders are feared lacking off Nambucca Heads on the NSW Mid North Coast.
A land and sea search is ready to renew this morning after being referred to as off about 10pm attributable to harmful surf.
The pair had been reported lacking off Wellington Drive about 6.30pm yesterday and had been final seen about 1 kilometre offshore, between Nambucca Heads and Scotts Head.
They had been reportedly carrying a pink shirt and a yellow shirt.
“A land and water-based search was undertaken, with the water-based search suspended at 10pm, attributable to harmful surf circumstances,” police stated.
“A multi-agency water and land-based search will resume within the morning.”
