“The Transmission Firm of Nigeria (TCN) hereby states that its upkeep crew will perform deliberate annual preventive upkeep on its 40MVA Transformer at Akwanga Transmission Substation on Saturday, twenty second June, 2024 between the hours of 9:30 am and 4:30 pm,” the assertion reads.
Consequently, the Abuja Electrical energy Distribution Firm (AEDC) will likely be unable to offtake energy from the transformer, leading to an influence outage within the affected areas.
TCN mentioned the facility provide will likely be restored instantly after the upkeep is accomplished by 4.30 pm on June 22.
