Tertiary Schooling Belief Fund (TETFund) has authorized N130 million as zonal intervention for polytechnics in its 2023 intervention, with a view to reinvigorating abilities acquisition on the establishments.
This was disclosed in Abuja, yesterday, by Director of Infrastructure, Buhari Mika’Ilu, on the TETFund/NBTE Sensitisation Workshop on 2023 Zonal Intervention on Expertise for Rectors and Administrators of Expertise in Beneficiary Polytechnics.
Mika’Ilu stated the intervention was to consolidate efforts of the Nationwide Board for Technical Schooling (NBTE) in direction of rising capacities of polytechnics to ship on their mandate.
He stated the intervention was largely used to assist establishments meet fundamental necessities for accreditation.
Based on him, it targeted purely on tasks with tutorial relevance, thereby, addressing deficiencies in core areas of acquisition of important tutorial supplies and gear for instructing and studying, and constructing capacities to be used of kit procured.

In the meantime, Govt Secretary of TETFund, Sonny Echono, charged rectors of polytechnics to discover revolutionary approaches to abilities improvement and machine efficient options that may improve high quality and relevance of technical training.
