Three employees have reportedly been injured after a hippo charged at them within the Kruger Nationwide Park.
Three employees from the Biodiversity Social Undertaking have been charged by a hippo whereas clearing alien crops alongside the Sabie River, close to the nationwide park’s Paul Kruger Gate, writes The South African.
In accordance with the article, a put up was made to the SANParks – Kruger Nationwide Park Fb group on Monday, detailing the incident.
The report states that the three injured employees have been working in thick bush close by the riverbank when the hippo charged at them.
Two-armed area guards who accompanied the group fired photographs on the hippo, and it fled again to the river.
The injured have been then rushed to a Skukuza physician the place they have been stabilised earlier than being transferred to a close-by hospital for additional therapy and commentary.
The unnamed employees have been left with “severe however not life threatening” accidents.
