Ukraine can use weapons offered by Finland to hit targets on Russian soil, senior officers in Helsinki stated.
Finland’s Protection Minister Antti Häkkänen stated his nation has not set any restrictions on what Ukraine can do with the weapons it supplies, Finnish broadcaster Yle reported on Thursday. Häkkänen added that blocks have been imposed primarily by international locations which have offered Ukraine with long-range weapons programs.
“If crucial, Ukraine must also strike army targets on the Russian facet. It’s a fully reliable defensive battle that Ukraine is waging. The U.N. Constitution permits army targets to be attacked throughout land borders,” stated Jukka Kopra, chair of the Finnish parliamentary protection committee.
