A vigil Mass was held Thursday for Auxiliary Bishop David G. O’Connell on the Cathedral of Our Girl of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles.
The 69-year-old O’Connell, who was discovered shot simply earlier than 1 p.m. Feb. 18 at his residence in Hacienda Heights, is being remembered with three days of funeral companies.
A funeral Mass is scheduled for tomorrow at 11 a.m. on the cathedral.
