The Police Command in Lagos State says it has arrested two suspected hoodlums over the dying of a vigilante member within the Epe space of the state.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this to the Information Company of Nigeria on Thursday.
Hundeyin mentioned that the Epe Police Division acquired a report on Monday at about 4.30 p.m. that an Ibile Vigilante member, merely recognized as Oluwafemi, 45, was attacked on Friday at about 2.00 p.m. by suspected hoodlums.
He mentioned the hoodlums reportedly attacked the vigilante member at a refuse dump website, at Afero Village, Epe, whereas trying to cease them from scavenging disposed contaminated frozen turkeys from the dump website.
Based on the picture maker, the vigilante member, who sustained accidents on components of his physique, was rushed to Epe Common Hospital, the place he was handled and discharged.
