Mossel Bay municipal officers eliminated a whale carcass at Hersham Seashore close to Glentana on Monday, 6 February.
The carcass was too composed to make a constructive species identification, mentioned the Stranded Marine Animal Rescue Staff spokesperson, Val Marsh.
Drone Fanatics SA captured unimaginable pictures of the decomposed whale because it slowly drifted in direction of the seashore.
The seashore between Groot Brak River and Hersham was reopened following the profitable disposal of the whale carcass when it was buried above the highwater mark.
