Tennessee is the one state internet hosting a major contest on Thursday.
All polling locations within the state shut concurrently: 8 p.m. within the Japanese time zone and seven p.m. within the Central time zone. Lookup polling places and pattern ballots right here.
Two of the notable races on the poll:
Governor
Gov. Invoice Lee, a Republican, is searching for re-election and greater than half of all voters approve of the job he’s doing, in line with current polling. Democrats, nevertheless, are attempting to make the case that he could be toppled in a common election. The Democratic major options three candidates: Jason Martin, a Nashville doctor; J.B. Smiley, a Memphis lawyer and metropolis councilman; and Carnita Atwater, a Memphis neighborhood activist.
Fifth Congressional District

Whereas not aggressive on Thursday, the autumn matchup is already set within the newly drawn Seventh District, which incorporates blue downtown Nashville along with redder rural areas of Tennessee — maintaining it favorable to Republicans. Consultant Mark Inexperienced is operating unopposed for the Republican nomination and hopes to safe a second time period. Odessa Kelly, a neighborhood organizer, is the Democratic candidate and is operating with the backing of the Justice Democrats, a progressive political motion committee.
