The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has suggested the Chairpersons of the six Space Councils in FCT to represent a Surveillance Committee of their respective councils to curb insecurity.
Mr Wike suggested whereas responding to the challenges outlined by the councils’ chairpersons throughout a familiarisation assembly in Abuja on Thursday.

Earlier, the Chairperson of Kwali Space Council, Danladi Chiya, outlined insufficient funds, sanitation, public transportation, land allocation and insecurity, notably kidnappings as the foremost challenges affecting the world councils.
Mr Chiya disclosed that 19 individuals had been kidnapped in Bwari Space Council in the present day (Thursday) and urged the minister to return to their help.
On land allocation, the chairperson mentioned that peoples’ backyards, graveyards, and church buildings had been being allotted to people.
