Taiwanese shipowner and operator Knowledge Marine and Singapore-based shipmanagement large Synergy Marine Group have established a three way partnership firm for the Knowledge-owned dry bulk tonnage.
Knowledge Synergy Ship Administration (WSSM) is headquartered in Singapore and has key operational centres in Taiwan and India.
The transfer follows Knowledge’s determination final 12 months to assign Synergy to handle a bit of its fleet.
Established by delivery magnate James Lan in 1999, the Taipei-based Knowledge owns greater than 100 bulk carriers.
“With WSSM, we embark on a transformative journey, leveraging Synergy’s experience to reinforce our fleet’s operational security and effectivity, underscoring our dedication to sustainable practices and the well-being of our crew,” remarked Lan.
Rajesh Unni, founder and CEO of Synergy, which manages a fleet of over 650 vessels, added: “Becoming a member of forces with Knowledge Marine Group, a pacesetter in world delivery, is an honour.
