A lady has been taken to hospital with critical accidents after being held hostage at her house in Kent, witnesses have stated.
Locals described listening to gunshots after armed police smashed right into a terraced home in Dartford.

After an hour-long stand-off, “pandemonium” broke out and neighbours heard what they described as sounding like two rounds of gunshots.
Kent Police confirmed a person and a lady had been taken to a London hospital with critical accidents.

Witnesses who lived close by stated the girl had been “held hostage” by a person behind the property.
One lady, who wished to not be named, described the scene as “chilling”.
She stated: “I used to be in the home and my husband and two ladies had been out – they couldn’t get again house.
“I went out and was advised ‘get again – you should keep indoors’.
“I went to the backyard the place I might see extra.”
About an hour after police entered the property, she stated she heard gunshots earlier than an individual was carried out on a stretcher.
“It was pandemonium”, she stated. “I heard 5 gunshots – a pause after which one other 5.”
