Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi on Sunday escaped an alleged assassination try alongside the Lokoja-Abuja freeway.
The Kogi State Commissioner for Info, Kingsley Fanwo, made the disclosure in a press release in Lokoja.
“The Kogi state authorities needs to tell most people that there was an assassination try on the governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, just a few kilometres away from Abuja, on his technique to an official engagement from Lokoja.
“The assault occurred at about 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22.
